我们是谁Who Are We?
本会致力于培养一个由觉醒个体组成的社区，以儒、释、道的永恒智慧为指导。这份智慧，我们不盲信，而是透过科学研究加以钻研。三家思想相辅相成，科学研究让我们不自欺。四者共同构建完整的精神修养体系。
We are building a community of awakened people, guided by the lasting wisdom of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism. We do not take that wisdom on trust. We study it through scientific research. The three traditions complete one another, and research keeps us honest. Together they form one whole system of cultivation.
Confucian
儒家精神
强调道德、伦理与社会和谐。提倡培养高尚的品德，在社会与家庭中履行自己的角色。
Morality, ethics and social harmony. It asks us to cultivate character, and to fulfil our role honestly within family and society.
Buddhist
释教精神
追求觉悟与解脱苦难。人生充满苦难，但通过道德行为、冥想与智慧，苦难可以被克服。
The pursuit of awakening and release from suffering. Life carries suffering, but through ethical conduct, meditation and wisdom it can be worked through.
Taoist
道家精神
与道和谐共处。鼓励简朴、自发、不勉强的生活，培养内在本性，按照自然秩序生活。
Living in accord with the Tao. It encourages a life that is simple, spontaneous and unforced, cultivating one's own nature and following the natural order.
Scientific
科学研究
上面三家给我们智慧，科学研究让我们检验这份智慧。经文不是拿来背的，而是可以对照、可以查证的道理。
The three above give us the wisdom. Research is how we check it. A sutra is not something to recite, it is reasoning that can be compared and verified.
宗旨Objects
以下是本会章程中正式载明的宗旨，一字不改。
These are the objects as they are formally set down in our constitution, unchanged.

以佛教八正道作为主要框架，推广心灵教育。
To promote spiritual education based on the Buddhist Eightfold Path as the primary framework.
b)
融合佛家与儒家的伦理教诲，以及道家的玄学和谐，达致整体的心灵成长。
To integrate the ethical teachings of Buddhism and Confucianism, and the metaphysical harmony of Taoism, in holistic spiritual development.
c)
举办讲座、共修小组与工作坊，并出版关于儒、释、道的刊物。
To conduct lectures, study groups and workshops, and to produce publications on Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism.
d)
举办禅修营、共修小组、德育课程，以及传统节庆的文化法会。
To organise and conduct retreats, study groups, moral education classes, and cultural seasonal ceremonies.
e)
以传统价值为本，推动青年培育、伦理与品格的养成。
To promote youth development, ethics, and character training based on traditional values.
f)
为推行以上宗旨，本会可开展与本会理念相符的社区关怀与福利服务，并保存及弘扬与传统中华哲学及心灵教诲相关的文化遗产。
In furtherance of the above objects, the Society may engage in community outreach and welfare services aligned with the Society's philosophy, and also preserve and promote cultural heritage linked to traditional Chinese philosophy and spiritual teachings.
八正道The Noble Eightfold Path
灭苦不是靠祈祷，而是靠训练与实践。点选任何一条，看它要求你做什么。
Suffering does not end through prayer. It ends through training and practice. Tap any spoke to see what it asks of you.
正确理解因果、无常、无我。
Understanding cause and effect, impermanence, and non-self.
保持善意，不起恶念，不生迷恋。
Holding goodwill, free of ill will and of craving.
不妄语，不恶口，不两舌。
No lying, no harsh words, no talk that divides people.
身行善事，不伤害。
Acting well, and causing no harm.
以正当的方式生活与谋生。
Making a living in a way that is honest and clean.
断恶，修善，守善。
Ending what harms, cultivating what is good, keeping it.
时时保持觉察。
Staying aware, moment by moment.
通过禅定使心稳定、清明。
Steadying and clearing the mind through meditation.
八正道不是信仰，是「可验证，可练习」的方法。
The Eightfold Path is not a belief. It is a method. One you can test, and one you can practise.
信解行证The Four Stages
人一定会有困惑。困惑并不可怕，那正是觉醒的起点。真正的问题不在于「为什么我会迷茫」，而是「我是否知道，自己正处在迷茫之中」。
Everyone gets lost. Being lost is not the problem. It is where awakening starts. The real question is not why am I confused, but do I know that I am confused right now.

Trust that the Dharma is true, that cause and effect hold, and that practice can release you.

通过学习经文、听法，慢慢明白其中的道理。

What you understand gets carried into ordinary daily life.

通过实践，最终亲身体验真理。
Through practice, the truth is finally known first-hand, not second-hand.
修行最重要的，不是追求外在的结果，而是明确地知道自己现在所处的位置。当你知道自己在哪里，你才能知道该往哪里走。
What matters most in practice is not chasing an outcome. It is knowing exactly where you are standing right now. Once you know where you are, you can know where to walk.

We believe in scientifically evidenced work and teachings.
我们会做深入的研究。经文不是拿来背诵的口号，而是可以对照、可以检验的道理。这也是本会章程第 3.1(c) 条所载明的：出版关于儒、释、道的刊物。
Before we deliver a class, we do as much deep research as we can. A sutra is not a slogan to be recited. It is reasoning that can be checked, compared and tested. This is also written into our objects at clause 3.1(c): to produce publications on Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism.

每一堂课背后，都是先做过功课的。我们查证经文的出处，比对不同的注解，并尽可能找出与现代科学相呼应之处。
Every class has homework behind it. We check where a passage comes from, compare the commentaries against one another, and look for where modern science speaks to the same thing.
实证
Evidence
我们只教可以在生活中验证的方法。若一个说法无法被检验，我们会老实说明它是信念，而不是事实。
We teach methods you can test in your own life. Where a claim cannot be checked, we say plainly that it is a belief and not a fact.
出版
Publications
我们把研究整理成档案，公开发表，供学员与公众查阅、质疑与讨论。
We write our research up as dossiers and publish them, so that students and the public can read them, question them and argue with them.

We are registered under Singapore's Societies Act. The constitution is summarised below. Open any part to read it.
1.1 本会名称为 The Eightfold Path Jiang Taigong Organization（八正道姜太公）。
1.1 The name of the Society is The Eightfold Path Jiang Taigong Organization (八正道姜太公).
2.1 本会注册地址为 71 Ubi Crescent, #08-07 Excalibur Centre, Singapore 408571。未经社团注册局批准，不得更改。
2.1 The registered address of the Society is 71 Ubi Crescent, #08-07 Excalibur Centre, Singapore 408571, and shall not be changed without the approval of the Registrar of Societies.
本会宗旨已完整列于上方「宗旨」一节，一字不改。
The objects of the Society are set out in full in the Objects section above, word for word.
4.1 会员资格开放予所有认同本会宗旨的新加坡居民。
4.1 Membership is open to all residents of Singapore who support the objectives of the Society.
4.2 成人会员资格开放予25岁及以上人士；19至24岁人士可申请为普通成人会员。
4.2 Adult membership is open to all persons aged 25 years and above, while persons aged between 19 to 24 may apply as General Adult members.
4.3 未满18岁者，须经父母或监护人书面同意，方可获接纳为会员。
4.3 Persons who are below 18 years of age shall not be accepted as members without the written consent of their parent or guardian.
4.4 只有21岁以上的会员，才有权投票及在本会担任职位。
4.4 Only members who are above 21 years of age shall have the right to vote and to hold office in the Society.
5.1 欲加入本会者，须以指定表格向秘书长提交个人资料。
5.1 A person wishing to join the Society should submit his particulars to the Secretary on a prescribed form.

组织历史Our History
本会于2024年6月30日（农历甲辰年五月廿五）由八位志同道合的修行者共同创立，以融合儒、释、道三家精髓为宗旨。创始人发挥各自的独特才能，通力合作，制定了全面的修行体系与教学方法。
The Eightfold Path Jiang Taigong Organization was founded on 30 June 2024, the 25th day of the fifth lunar month, by eight practitioners of one mind, to bring together the essence of the Confucian, Buddhist and Taoist traditions. Each founder brought a different gift, and together they built the teaching system we use today.
我们的使命是身心灵的整体修行，帮助个人发掘并发展其独特的精神潜能。
Our mission is whole-person cultivation of body, mind and spirit, helping each person find and develop their own particular potential.
没有正确的引导，就缺乏相应的智慧；缺乏智慧，就无法在修行中真正找到自己。
迷茫不是失败，而是一种提醒。
Without proper guidance there is no wisdom; without wisdom you cannot truly find yourself in practice.
Being lost is not failure. It is a reminder.
